The wine has a golden color of medium intensity. The nose offers great concentration, depth and freshness. It expresses notes of fresh orange zest, candied orange peel, candied lemon peel, very ripe fresh golden apple, poached pear, pineapple in syrup, peach in syrup, as well as notes of exotic fruits (passion fruit, a touch of guava), sweet spices (vanilla, nutmeg), tea leaf and honey. On the palate, the wine is dense, with an oily texture, but sweetness and richness are balanced by its salivating acidity. It expresses the flavors of candied orange peel, candied lemon peel, candied rhubarb, quince jam, dried apricot, very ripe melon, peach in syrup, pineapple in syrup, as well as a touch of spice (vanilla, nutmeg) and honey. The finish is lingering, tangy, with refreshing notes of lime jam. A generous but balanced wine.
