The nose is intense and offers power, a certain concentration as well as a stretched side. It reveals notes of bright wild cassis, dark plum and small notes of dense small wild red fruits associated with touches of olive/dry ground, pepper and a fine hint of balsamic. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/tangy structure, a good definition, precision, generosity, acidity, tension, a little fat, softness and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/tangy cassis, juicy/pulpy blackberry and small notes of pulpy blueberry associated with touches of fresh cherry, olive tree, dry local soil (sense of place) as well as a subtle hint of local aromatic herbs/local grove, mocha and a very discreet hint of toasted almond. Good length. Salinity on the finish/persistence.
