Rolet Père et Fils – Vin Jaune 2010 – Arbois

The nose is fresh, fruity, slightly restrained and offers freshness. It reveals notes of apple cooked in butter, quince and small notes of mirabelle plum associated with touches of almond, butter, spices and an imperceptible touch of verbena. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, precise, fine and offers a beautiful finesse of the structure, a fine suavity, delicacy, a beautiful acidulous frame as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, mirabelle plum and small notes of dried lemon associated with fine touches of dried green apple, almond, acacia and very discreet hints of butter / vanilla. Very beautiful acidulous finish. Presence of a hint of almond on the end of mouth. Good length. Beautiful, suave and gourmande persistence.
