The nose is racy, well-built and offers deepness, power and a fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe cherry, violet, fleshy blackberry, small notes of bigarreau cherry associated with touches of lilac as well as fine hints of nutmeg, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of vanilla pod (in the background). The palate is elegant and offers gourmandize, tension, juiciness as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy bigarreau cherry, strawberry, small notes of blueberry associated with touches of violet, cornflower as well as small touches of cardamom, nutmeg and sweet spices. Tannins are elegant, very discreetly marked and offer a fine chew. Good length and persistence.
