The palate is fruity, fine, juicy,well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine mineral frame, gourmandize, a fine unctuosity, tension, a fine freshness as well as a beautiful fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy cassis, fleshy/crushed raspberry, crushed redcurrant and fine touches of violet, cherry associated with subtle/discreet touches of spices, toasted, almond as well as a very discreet hint of sugared tobacco and cocoa/melted dark chocolate. Tannins are fine and slightly chewy. Fine chews on the finish. Beautiful gourmandize.
