The nose is fruity, powerful and offers a beautiful finesse, richness and power (beautifully balanced). There are notes of fleshy blackcurrant, fresh boysenberry and strawberry combined with fine touches of raspberry as well as fine touches of spices, oak and subtle / imperceptible hints of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity and offers a very beautiful juiciness, a beautiful mineral frame, a fine freshness, tension, a beautiful precision as well as a beautiful delicacy of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe blackberry, fine touches of juicy black berries / juicy blackberry and touches of juicy raspberry, juicy wild red berries associated with fine touches of mocha, wood, subtiles / imperceptible hints of coffee in the background. Tannins are fine and firm. Good length. There are a very discreet touch of dark chocolate, sweet spices (cardamom …) as well as subtle touches of almond on persistence / aftertaste. (2020+)
