Robert Mondavi – Moscato D’Oro 2015 – Napa Valley

Robert Mondavi – Moscato D’Oro 2015 – Napa Valley

The nose is fresh, fruity and well-balanced. It reveals notes of kumquat, quince, crystallized citrus and small notes of candied peach notes associated with small / fine touches of flowers and mirabelle plum. The palate is fruity, beading (“perlante” / discreet sparkling sensation), a bit aerial and offers tension, a beautiful balance, roundness, fat, a beautiful freshness as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied lemon, candied vine peach and small notes of kumquat associated with touches of quenette, fresh pineapple, grapes as well as slight hints of candied mandarin, candied apple, zest, lemon, very discreet hints of muesli and an imperceptible touch of fresh white flowers. Good length.
