The nose is slight and offers a fine fleshiness. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry associated with slight notes of fleshy raspberry, cassis jam as well as subtle touches of crushed plum. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful freshness, a nice minerality, tension, a beautiful definition / guideline, straightness, a slight suavity, a slight fleshiness as well as a very slight juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy / juicy raspberry and juicy red berries, wild blackberry associated with slight touches of fleshy cassis, hints of toasted oak, subtle hints of chocolate and caramelized oak. Tannins are slightly firm. Good length. There are a hint of cocoa / tonka bean and a subtle hint of vanilla on the persistence.
