The nose is powerful, spicy, precise and offers a good definition. It reveals notes of crushed red berries, wild strawberry and Cuben pepper associated with touches of crushed cassis, biagarreau cherry, violet, liquorice as well as discreet hints of iris and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, frank and offers minerality, a beautiful straightness, tension, precision, a small acidulous frame, suavity, a beautiful minerality, freshness as well as a fine and a bit tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of red berries, wild raspberry and small notes of bigarreau cherry associated with small touches of cassis, flowers, cocoa as well as discreet hints of spices, tea and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. Tannins are fine, a bit tight and slightly dry. Good length. (2020+)
