Rizzi 2007 – Barbaresco

The nose is fruity, mineral and offers a fine minerality. It reveals notes of ripe strawberry, ripe quetsche plum, small notes of violet, dry blueberry associated with a hint of cornflower, sweet spices and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers gourmandize, a small juiciness and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, blackberry, small notes of quetsche plum associated with fine hints of rose, lily as well as a discreet hint of graphite, liquorice and sweet spices/nutmeg. Good length.
