(Bourbon casks) The nose is fine, powerful, elegant, quite fruity and relatively gourmand. It reveals notes of caramel, plum, kumquat and mandarin zest associated with fine notes of caramelized oak, discreet notes of peat as well as slight notes of papaya, quenette and a discreet touch of gray pepper / spices. The palate is fruity, relatively suave, gourmand, fine, elegant, well-balanced, round and offers a fine acid frame and a good definition. In mouth this Rum expresses notes of citrus (orange, mandarin, kumquat), quenette, exotic fruits and caramel associated with fine notes of vanilla, sweet spices as well as a discreet touch of gray pepper and spices (vanilla, cinnamon). Good length and persistence. A beautiful, well done, precise and gourmand Rum !
