Reverdito – Bricco Cogni 2014 – Barolo

The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers good definition as well as generosity / gourmandise. It reveals notes of plum, ripe black berries and small notes of ripe bigarreau cherry associated with fine touches of liquorcie stick, tea, tonka bean and a hint of toasted hazelnut. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, racy, finely concentrated/tight and offers a beautiful definition, finesse, a beautiful tension and a beautiful structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes o black cherry, plum and small notes of tonka bean associated with touches of blackberry, crunchy strawberry as well as a discreet hint of redcurrant, tonka bean, toasted almond and an imperceptible hint of clove/toasted nut. Tannins are elegant.
