Réserve de la Comtesse de Lalande 2014 – Pauillac

Réserve de la Comtesse de Lalande 2014 – Pauillac

The nose is powerful, fruity and relatively concentrated. It reveals notes of black fruit associated with touches of red fruit (in background) and a few notes of spices, toasted oaky notes and a touch of pepper. The palate is fresh, fruity, round, fleshy, elegant, fat, ample, mineral and offers nice silky matter and tension. In the mouth it expresses notes of ripe fruits, cassis, blackberry and strawberry associated with small notes of chocolate, fleshy plum, flowers, slight beautiful woody notes as well as touches of pepper and of toasted notes on the finish. Tannins are fine, elegant and supple. Good length and persistence.
