The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers gourmandize, a fine intensity, a beautiful fine grain as well as an aerial side in the approach. It reveals notes of blueberry, pulpy cherry and small notes of of crushed strawberry associated with touches of cornflower, toasted / caramelized oak, hazelnut as well as fine hints of incense and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, minerality, an acidulous frame, a certain straightness, a racy minerality as well as a good freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / fresh cherry, fresh / crunchy redcurrants and small notes of fresh / crunchy blackberry associated with touches of acidulous cassis, iris, hints of acidulous red berries, cherry blossoms as well as a subtle hint of racy minerality and fresh tobacco. Tannins are precise and racy. Presence of fine toasted hints and chocolate on the finish / persistence.
