The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration as well as a small richness. It reveals notes of pulpy cherry, fleshy black plum, small notes of blackberry associated with touches of crushed strawberry, cornflower as well as hints of caramelization, vanilla, a fine hint of sugared mild tobacco, lily and pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a fine tension, an acidulous frame, a certain small concentration as well as fullness and a small flattery side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy cherry, fleshy/ripe violet plum, small notes of cassis associated with touches of raspberry, violet/cornflower as well as hints of racy minerality/clay, vanilla, hazelnut and a subtle hint of tonka bean (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built. A very fine chew and a hint of almond/chocolate in the persistence.
