Réccua – 30 anos – Tawny Porto

The nose is aromatic, rich and offers power as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of Kirsch plum, Kirsch cherry and small notes of candied raspberry associated with touches of orange zests, rancio, pâtisseries, cedarwood as well as hints of spices, violet, pear and very discreet hints of dried fruits (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, richness, tension, an acidulous frame, a good guideline, dynamism as well as fat. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of candied orange, Kirsch plum, cristallized mandarin as well as hints of rancio, pranline, cristallizzed lemon, rancio, oak/cedar, honey, very discreet hints of walnut/dry fruits and an imperceptible hint of cashew (in the background). Good length. There is a hint of grilled on the persistence.
