Real Companhia Velha – Lágrima Porto

The nose is aromatic and offers power as well as a certain sensation of tension. It reveals notes of small yellow fruits, candied Mirabelle, small notes of jam associated with touches of apple flowers, verbena, dry yellow currant and discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, fat and offers minerality, a mineral frame, a fine tension as well as suavity, freshness, a fine grain and a small syrupy hint. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of quince, crushed Mirabelle, small notes of jam associated with touches of small yellow fruits jam as well as discreet hints of yellow flowers, nougatine/patisserie, a subtle hint of honey, fresh hazelnut and eucalyptus (in the background). Good length.
