The nose is fruity, powerful and finely dusty. It reveals notes of cherry, blackberry and plum associated with slight notes of wild red berries as well as notes of spice, Sichuan pepper and a discreet touch of caramelized oak. The palate is fruity, sleek, well-balanced, well structured and offers a small complexity, a good volume, freshness as well as a nice unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, cherry, blackberry cream, small notes of blueberry and a hint of purple fig, violet associated with fine notes of chocolate, mocha, liquorice as well as a discreet hint of cardamom and tobacco. Tannins are fine and slightly dry. Good length and persistence on chocolate.
