Raptor Ridge – Pinot Noir 2015 – Willamette Valley

The nose offers power, a fine grain and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of crunchy violet plum, blackberry and small notes of violet associated with very fine touches of small berries, Cuben pepper, tonka bean and a very discreet hint of leather and spices. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition and a beautiful tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of violet plum, blackberry and small notes of fine touches of crushed blackcurrant as well as hints of violet, Sichuan pepper and a very discreet hint of racy minerality. Tannins are precise and structuring.
