The nose is fruity and offers power, finesse and elegance. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, griotte, crushed blackberry associated with fine touches of black plum, liquorice, graphite as well as fine touches of caramelization, strawberry and discreet hints of zan/mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, tension as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackcurrant, fleshy/juicy plum and small notes of black cherry associated with fine touches of strawberry, chocolate, caramelization as well as discreet hints of toasted almond. Tannins are elegant, very discreetly firm and gourmand. Good persistence.
