Ramos Pinto – LBV 2013 – Porto

The nose is fruity, juicy and elegant. It reveals notes of blueberry, blue fruit, blueberries and small notes of wild flowers, fresh strawberry / fleshy associated with touches of licorice stick, a very discreet sappy hint as well as an imperceptible hint of coffee and spices. The palate is fruity, delicate, elegant, fine and offers a small aerial side, a beautiful freshness, a nice finesse of the grain, a beautiful definition, depthness, a small acid frame, finesse as well as a beautiful and silky texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry / cherry, blueberry and small notes of juicy cassis associated with small touches of flowers, juicy raspberry, slight hints of orange, liquorice stick / zan, tea Ceylon as well as hints of spices. Tannins are fine, elegant and very discreetly firm. Very beautiful persistence (with notes of caramelization, pâtisseries and melted dark chocolate).
