Ramos Pinto – 30 years Old Tawny – Porto

The nose is fruity, elegant, relatively fresh and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of candied citrus combined with slight notes of fruit in syrup (peach and apple), a touch of orange peel as well as slight notes of walnuts. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant, fine, balanced, a bit fat and offers a good volume as well as a beautiful silky and slightly velvety matter. In the mouth this Porto expresses notes of candied citrus (orange, lemon), peach in syrup, Tarte Tatin and slight notes of honey combined with a discreet touch of caramel, as well as small notes of nuts (walnuts, hazelnut and a discreet hint of macadamia nuts).
