The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a beautiful power (in control), a fine grain and power. It reveals notes of dry kumquat, dry mandarine, small notes of dry yellow grape associated with small touches of violet, pepper, dry apricot as well as a discreet hint of dry fig, dry cedrat/dry zests, discreet hints of fresh mild tobacco and pâtisserie. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, tension, power as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain, a certain straightness (full of elegance) and appetence. On the palate this Cognac expresses notes of dry yellow grape, dry kumquat, small notes of candied Mirabelle associated with touches of dry citrus, candied mandarine zests, dry lemon flowers/dry white flowers as well as a discreet hint of lilac, dry apricot, cedar, a subtle hint of spices, pâtisserie and an imperceptible hint of chocolate (in the background). Good length.
