Ragnaud-Sabourin 1990 – Cognac

The nose is elegant, precise and offers intensity as well as a certain power/force. It reveals notes of dry kumquat, orangette, small notes of dry citrus associated with small touches of rancio, dry flowers, apricot as well as fine hints of cedrat, rose wood, tobacco and a very discreet hint of rose pepper. The palate is fruity and offers suavity, a fine gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame, precision as well as a beautiful fine grain and a good definition. On the palate this Cognac expresses notes of candied kumquat, orangette, small notes of crystallized mandarine associated with touches of dry citrus, caramel peach as well as small touches of juicy Mirabelle, apricot flowers, pâtisseries, brioche, a subtle hint of caramelization, rose wood, an imperceptible hint of bergamot, pepper and liquorice stick (in the background).
