The nose is fruity and offers concentration, a certain intensity as well as a fine spicy side. It reveals notes of juicy wild blackberry, juicy purple plum and small notes of cherry associated with touches of strawberry, hints of licorice stick as well as a hint of pepper and spices. The palate is fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers gourmandize, a small unctuosity, a fine richness, a fine tension, freshness as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, bright raspberry and small notes of Gariguette strawberry associated with touches of acidulous plum, acidulous cassis as well as fine hints of cornflowers, liquorice and discreet hints of chocolate. Tannins are well-built. Presence of a subtle varietal hint and good bitterness on the finish / persistence.
