The nose is fruity and offers a slight intensity. It reveals plum notes, ripe wild berries and crushed strawberry combined with slight touches of blackberry, crunchy red fruits, tonka bean, cardamom, tea as well as a discreet toasty touch / vanilla touch on the background. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers good definition, suavity, a nice mineral frame, a slight acidity (in the background) and good finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy boysenberry, fleshy strawberry as well as fresh raspberry / blackberry combined with touches of juicy blueberry and touches of chocolate, vanilla, caramelized wood and spices. Tannins are a bit chewy. Good length and beautiful persistence. There are slight notes of juicy fruit, tonka bean on the persistence as well as an imperceptible hint of coffee on the aftertaste.
