Quinto Elemento – Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, Quinta Do Arrobe – Vinho Regional Tejo

The nose is aromatic and offers power, intensity as well as a small incisive hint. It reveals notes of Bigarreau cherry, ripe redcurrants and small notes of cassis associated with small touches of lily, local garrigue, slight hints of black tea, gray pepper as well as a discreet toasted hint and an almost black olive hint. The palate is fruity, racy and offers juiciness, a fine acidulous frame, freshness, a slight concentration, a certain richness, a fine grain as well as a good guideline. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy wild cassis, bright Boysenberry and small notes of bright raspberry, fresh violet associated with small touches of crushed redcurrants, a hint of bright purple plum, toasted, nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of local garrigue, mocha and a subtle hint of toasted almond (in the background). Tannins are fine, racy and precise. Good length. A fine sapidity on the persistence.
