It reveals notes blackberries, crushed cassis and roasted small fruits combined with touches of crushed strawberries, black cherries, small bright blue fruits associated with touches of rocky/volcanic minerality as well as fine hints of spices, cloves and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, tense, nicely acidulous, elegant and offers power, an electric side, velvety, harmony, dynamism as well as purity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry/cassis and small roasted fruits associated with touches of crushed raspberry, chocolate, Bourbon vanilla and caramelization. Tannins are powerful, elegant and polished. A very discreet hint of balsamic in the background. Beautiful persistence.
