The nose is aromatic, gourmand and relatively deep. It reveals notes of cacao/mocha, boysenberry and violet/iris associated with a subtle hint of wild raspberry as well as a very discreet hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, tight, silky, suave, slightly fleshy and offers a slight juiciness as well as density. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and slight notes of redcurrant, ripe/fresh raspberry associated with oaky hints as well as a subtle hint of cacao, a very discreet hint of flowers and an imperceptible hint of gray pepper. Tannins are fine and very slightly dry. Good length.
