The nose is elegant, concentrated, racy and offers a fine minerality. It reveals notes of caco/dark chocolate, slight notes of cassis cream and hints of crushed fleshy plum associated with a subtle hint of strawberry jam, black cherry, hints of wild red fruits, a subtle hint of olive, violet as well as a discreet hint of garrigue, flint and an imperceptible hint of sweet spices (vanilla…). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral, fresh, elegant and offers a slight acid frame, fat, suavity as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/fresh boysenberry and fine notes of crushed plum, redcurrant jam associated with a hint of wild strawberry, blueberry and small notes of chocolate, toasted oak, licorice, caramelization as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla and olive/garrigue. Tannins are well-built, a bit young and slightly dry. Good length and persistence.
