The nose is elegant, fine and offers a fine intensity, a fine freshness as well as a fine concentration (full of finesse). It reveals notes of zante currant , orangette and small notes of cristallized kumquat associated with fine touches of pâtisseries, fig, candied strawberry, hints of white flowers, spices as well as a very discreet hint of cardamom and Timut pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a good definition, finesse, tension, delicacy, roundness, a small juiciness, a fine acidulous frame as well as a good structure. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of cristallized lemon, candied kumquat and small notes of candied mandarin associated with small touches of Kirsch cherry, candied strawberry as well as fine hints of fig, caramelization/pâtisseries, very discreet hints of toasted, toasted almond and an imperceptible hint of tea (in the background). Good length.
