Quinta do Pessegueiro 2013 – Douro

The nose is aromatic and offers a slight powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry and flowers associated with slight notes of strawberry, cassis as well as a hint of zan, toasted and a discreet hint of graphite. The palate is fruity, fine, sleek, silky and offers a beautiful fat, roundness, finesse as well as a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry and cassis jelly associated with slight notes of crushed red fruits as well as hints of liquorice, caramelized oak and a discreet hint of chocolate. Tannins are slight and well-built. Good length. There is suavity and a slightly iodine on the finish/persistence.
