Quinta do Noval – 2014 Vintage Port

The nose is fruity, gourmand, elegant, charming and powerful. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and cherry associated with fine notes of strawberry jam, cherry as well as slight notes of wild fruits and chocolate. The palate is fruity, fine, elegant, charming / delicious, well-balanced, silky, harmonious, a bit aerial and offers a fine acidity (discreet, in the background) as well as a nice frame. In mouth this Porto expresses notes of blackberry, plum jam, strawberry and cassis combined with slight notes of licorice, candy, chocolate and an imperceptible hint of oak. Good length and persistence. A promising Porto !
