The nose is fruity and offers a small intensity / concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and racy minerality associated with small notes of cherry / red berries, crushed sour cherry, plum as well as discreet touches of eucalyptus / grove, violet, liquorice, toasted oak, sweet spices and very discreet hints of Sichuan pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, soft, well-balanced, racy, very slightly tight and offers straightness, tension, a slight mineral frale, a slight acidity as well as a slight suavity. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of cassis, sour cherry and small notes of wild berries associated with small notes of crushed raspberry, plum, eucalyptus as well as discreet touches of grove, toasted oak, chocolate / cocoa, spices and a very discreet hint of roasting / coffee on the finish. Tannins are well-built and very slightly tight. Good length. There is a hint of hazelnut on the aftertaste.
