The nose is fine, quite aromatic and offers a slight intensity as well as a slight concentration. It reveals notes of black berries, garrigue and slight notes of crushed cassis, crushed blackberry / plum associated with small touches of fresh raspberry, discreet hints of eucalyptus, spices, racy minerality as well as a very discreet hints of rose (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, round, fine, suave, slightly tight and offers a nice minerality, a good / fine freshness, a slight acid frame (in the background), a slight juiciness, a good definition, a slight gourmandise as well as a slight concentration and a slight density. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of fleshy / crushed cassis, crushed plum and small notes of wild strawberry, cherry associated with slight touches of chocolate, toasted oak, caramelization as well as a very discreet hint of cardamom as well as a very imperceptible hint of walnut / almond (in the background). Good length and good persistence. There are slight touches of dark chocolate / coffee on the persistence.
