Quinta da Lapa – Sta Teresa D’Avila – Homenagem – Reserva 2013 – Tejo

The nose is fruity, structured, elegant and offers concentration as well as a slight gourmandise. It reveals notes of cassis jam, fleshy/juicy cherry and strawberry associated with hints of flint, crushed blueberry as well as a subtle toasted hint/smoke and an imperceptible hint of gray pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced, racy, elegant, structured, straight, well-built and offers a beautiful mineral frame, deepness as well as a slight tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, crushed blueberry and slight notes of cherry, fresh raspberry associated with a subtle hint of toasted oak/cacao as well as a subtle hint of caramelization and sweet spices. Tannins are supple. A very beautiful wine, gourmand and elegant.
