(Bio) The wine shows a medium ruby colour with garnet reflections. The nose is heady, dense and powerful, opening up with notes of Mediterranean herbs, rosemary, warm soil, ferrous nuances underlaid by hints of ripe red cherries and wild strawberries. On the palate the wine reveals a lot of drying, austere tannins, a nice acidic backbone and a certain elegance. The palate mirrors the nose with notes of red berries interlaced with herbal and mineral nuances. The finish is warming, drying. The wine is dominated by the tannins and alcohol at the moment, needs time to soften.
