The nose is aromatic, well-balanced and offers a slight intensity as well as a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and small notes of wild strawberry combined with a touch of blue fruits, violet, sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of tobacco and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a slight juiciness, suavity, a very slight acidulous frame, a slight tension as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy wild blackberry, black cherry and cassis associated with small touches of blond tobacco, pepper as well as discreet hints of dark chocolate and an imperceptible touch of tobacco. The finish is very slightly grainy. Good length. The persistence is slightly gourmande.
