The nose is fruity, elegant, aromatic and offers complexity as well as a slight concentration. It reveals notes of ripe wild blackberry, wild raspberry and small notes of cassis combined with hints of acid acidulous violet candy, sweet spices, gray pepper and colas. The palate is fruity, elegant, well-balanced, silky and offers a beautiful suavity, a beautiful finesse, a very slightly tight grain, a very slight freshness, gourmandise, a certain complexity as well as power and delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, cassis and small notes of crushed blackberry combined with touches of colas, dark chocolate, cardamom, Bourbon vanilla as well as discreet hints of fresh violet / wild flowers (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of almond (in the background). Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. Very fine chews on the finish. Good persistence.
