Provenance – Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 – Howell Mountain, Napa Valley

The nose is fruity, juicy, racy, elegant and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, blue fruits and small notes of red fruits (redcurrants, cherry) associated with small touches of liquorice, vanilla, small toasted touches, violet as well as an imperceptible touch of Tarweed (Madia) / fresh wildflowers. The palate is fruity, suave, very slightly tight, racy and offers tension, a slight freshness, a racy minerality as well as a beautiful grain and a beautiful texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, cassis and small notes of blue fruits associated with slight touches of fleshy strawberry, Tarweed (Madia), licorice, chocolate and vanilla. Tannins are fine, well-built and elegant. Good length.
