Provenance – Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 – Diamond Mountain, Napa Valley

The nose is powerful, fine, elegant, very slightly tight and racy. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of crushed wild strawberry, crushed wild raspberry associated with touches of liquorice as well as a very discreet hint of blueberry and discreet hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight juiciness, a good definition, a beautiful finesse of the grain, delicacy as well as a beautiful suavity / roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, ripe / juicy redcurrants and small notes of black cherry associated with small touches of colas, dark chocolate, sweet spices as well as discreet toasted hints. Good length and very beautiful persistence.
