Prosper Maufoux – Les Gravière 2015 – Santenay 1er Cru

The nose is racy and offers a slight richness, a fine concentration as well as a small fat. It reveals notes of black cherry, black plum and slight notes of raspberry associated with slight touches of flowers (violet, cornflower) as well as discreet hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of tobacco. The palate is fresh, juicy, fruity, fat, silky and offers suavity, good guideline, a slight tension and a slight acid / juicy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh strawberry, juicy Quetsche plum, ripe / juicy red berries associated with slight touches of spices, licorice and a very discreet mocha and a few discreet woody touches. Good length.
