Prosper Maufoux – Comme Dessus 2015 – Santenay

The nose is aromatic, fruity and offers elegance. It revals notes of apple, vine peach and slight touches of fleshy mirabelle plum associated with discreet hints of brioche as well as an imperceptible hint of beeswax. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, well-balanced, gourmand, well built / defined and offers a nice suavity / gourmandise, a slight acid frame, a good freshness, a bit aerial side, a nice fat, a slight unctuosity as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of flat peach, apple and physalis associated with a slight touch of quince, mirabelle plum, a very discreet hint of beeswax as well as an imperceptible touch of lemon and toasted touches / toast. Good length. There is an imperceptible touch of vanilla on the persistence / aftertaste.
