Prosper Maufoux – Comme Dessus 2015 – Santenay

The nose is fresh, aromatic, gourmand, structured and relatively rich. It reveals notes of mirabelle and butter associated with small notes of lemon, yellow fruits as well as a hint of apple/fresh pear and woody touches. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful mineral frame, a slight acidity, a slight juicniess, a small suavity as well as a small incisive side on the attack. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh apple, juicy mirabelle and slight notes of juicy/fleshy quince associated with a subtle hint of pear, a woody hint and an imperceptible hint of butter. Good length and persistence.
