Probus – Traminac 2018, Gewurztraminer

Probus – Traminac 2018, Gewurztraminer

The nose is fruity and reveals some concentration, freshness, a little stretch and a fine, discreetly tight grain. There are notes of kumquat, tangerine peel and more slightly lemon, combined with a subtle hint of pineapple and discreet spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, some gourmandize, acidity, good definition, good structure as well as finesse in its smoothness. On the palate, this wine expresses juicy/pulpy tangerine, fleshy apricot and more slightly crushed peach notes combined with fine touches of exotic/quenette fruit as well as fine points of minerality, toastiness (which underline the fruit) and a very discreet, almost saline touch.
