Principe di Butera – Grillo 2018 – Sicilia DOC

The nose is fruity, elegant, fine and offers concentration/richness. It reveals notes of ripe pear, ripe apple and small notes of ripe/fleshy mirabelle associated with small typical chewed fruits, very fine hints of flowers/honeysuckle as well as very discreet hints of butter, sweet spices and sense of the place. The palate is fruity, elegant, well-balanced and offers a beautiful finesse of the fat/grain, tension, finesse as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of peat, quince and small notes of fleshy mirabelle associated with fine hints of sense of the place and imperceptible hint of butter (in the background).
