The nose is elegant, powerful and offers a fine grain, a beautiful intensity as well as complexity. It reveals notes of ripe blackberrry and small notes of wild strawberry, acidulous raspberry/balsamic associated with fine hints of liquorice, tobacco as well as a very discreet hints of rosemary, sage, Brazilian peppet and offers minerality, juiciness, tension, richness, gourmandize/generosity, deepness, a beautiful acidulous frame as well as a beautiful precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry and small notes of plum associated with fine touches of wild strawberry, rose as well as very fine hints of chocolate, caramelization and an imperceptible hint of tea. Tannins are elegant and structuring. Good length and persistence.
