The nose is aromatic, finely gourmand/rich and finely powerful/concentrated. It reveals notes of crème de cassis, blackberry and wild berries combined with small notes of red fruit (redcurrant, raspberry jam) as well as touches of garrigue, vanilla and caramelized oak. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, a fine suavity, a beautiful mineral frame as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy plum and slight notes of cherry associated with hints of crushed redcurrant, black fruits jam as well as touches of caramelized oak, black olive, minerality and an imperceptible hint of garrigue / Mediterranean forest floor. Tannins are a bit chewy. Good length. The finish is finely gourmande and offers an imperceptible hint of chocolate.
