The nose is aromatic and racy (sense of place). It reveals notes of blackberry, salty minerality / grove and small notes of cassis associated with touches of black cherry as well as slight touches of sense of place, undergrowth and discreet hints of liquorice. The palate is fruity, racy, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good structure, straightness, a mineral frame as well as a fine juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, ripe wild red berries and small notes ripe wild raspberry combined with a hint of liquorice, tonka bean as well as discreet hints of caramelization and undergrowth.
