The nose is aromatic, concentrated, elegant, fine, slightly tight and a bit powerful. The wine needs to be served in carafe. It reveals notes of wild berries, blackberries, racy minerality and Bigarreau cherry associated with small notes of garrigue, wild strawberry, a touch of toasted oak as well as a hint of gray pepper, sage / dry local forest soil and spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral (beautiful minerality), well-balanced, racy, complex and offers a small tension, suavity, a beautiful juiciness, finesse, precision as well as a beautiful elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, ripe / juicy wild red berries and small notes of wild strawberry, cherry associated with small touches of garrigue, dry forest floor as well as discreet touches of spices, a subtle hint of sage / rosemary, an imperceptible touch of pepper and chocolate. Tannins are fine and (very) slightly firm. Good length.
